After I started to put this together I started noticing some minor damages to some of the parts. The directions are not the best but there are youtube videos. Also you might have to make cuts on the shaft that holds the tarp and drill into your trailer or dump.But at the end of the day it seems to be a good product. Also when ever I get anything heavy like this shipped to my house there are always some minor damages, not saying that it’s acceptable just that boxes get handled many times and parts shift in the box.I would rather give this 3.5 but you can’t give a half of a star.I had a different system from different brand but this one fit perfectly almost in the brackets from the old partTodo estuvo muy bienPara la trailaHave these for my rolloff dumpsters. They work well with a little work. Haven’t found one easier or better to use.I received this 3-4 days EARLY! Was stoked to use for covering demo loads. Ive been screwing around with a store bought tarp. That’s fine if you want to spend the time fiddling with tying it down at the end of the day sweating in the sun. Me? I was tired of wasting that much time when i need to fight traffic and get the debris to the dump before it closes. I’d been looking at different tarp systems and finally made a decision to go with this one. Man, am i glad i did! It works great and was pretty simple to install. I had to trim two ends with the chop saw to fit the rods on my trailer. 6’ and under has to be trimmed - not a big deal, like an extra 10 minutes to cut. The only delay was i had ordered a tarp too small. I called the number they supply in the packaging and voila! I was talking to Jeremy who walked me through questions about sizing and installation. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful. He even gave me a few tips and pointers. The customer service was stellar, the shipping was very fast, returning the undersized tarp was a breeze. They just sent me a replacement that was sized correctly and was here in a few more days. None of this resulted in restocking or extra shipping fees. I really can’t say enough good about this product and their customer service. If you’re like me and want to avoid fines for uncovered loads and need a good, solid tarp system for a dump trailer then i highly recommend this product/company. Super pleased! Am probably going to order the tension bow next.The net is made of great qualityThe bearings are heavy dutyThe mounting brackets could be a bit heavier duty/thicker but they work fineSo I ordered the 6x16The net is 6x16 how ever the pole was more like 7.5ft wide it’s a 2 piece unit I had to cut it in order for it to properly fit my dump trailerOnly flaw I see with this unit is the 2 ends that attach into the bearings there is 2 plastic bushings which are fine how ever the solid stock on the ends is only about a foot long and attached via a pinIn the near future I will buy a solid piece of 6ft stock and replace it withThe product is well worth the moneyWith a little fabrication and 1 improvement the unit will last for years to comeI’m sure it is ok as is how ever it won’t Handel any abuseI bought the 6x14 tarp kit for my 6x12 dump trailer and it looks great. I had no idea what I was doing so it took me like 3 hours but I got it done.NOTE: if you have a trailer MY size or smaller you WILL have to cut the bars down to make it fit.When I first got it I was concerned I ordered wrong but I called the number on the paper at 7:30pm and Jeremy answered and even FaceTimed me to answer my questions. I was honestly surprised I got an answer at all and was happy with his customer service. He told me what I needed to do and it wasn’t bad. He even offered to send pre-cut bars for me.PROS: Very good quality hardwareVery good quality tarp (heavy duty) IF you buy this I RECOMMEND buying the TARP!!!CONS: I had to cut mine down to make it fit which isn’t a huge deal honestly.Towards the end of the installation you are required to have a hex tool to tighten the hardware onto the shaft and this does not come with one.All and all... I RECOMMEND!!!!
